High Violet is run by Seán Crossey and is based in Manchester, England. After running Blue Soap Music successfully for many years, Seán decided to start up High Violet (it was basically a name change). Since then, he's been working with Kool Keith, The Waterfront (The Stone Roses), Soup from Jurassic 5, 808 State, Babybird, The Mouse Outfit, Twisted Wheel, Space, Andy Cooper from Ugly Duckling, Secret Shine, The Winachi Tribe, The High, Aslan's Christy Dignam & Hooligan, Buzzcocks, Alias Kid, Kids On Bridges, Dub Phizix, Crazy P, Northern Uproar, Gary Daly (China Crisis) and Hafdis Huld (Gus Gus, Tricky) amongst  many more.

Blue Soap were responsible for kick starting the careers of Elbow, I Am Kloot and Catfish & The Bottlemen as well as working with Mick Jones of The Clash, Roger O'Donnell of The Cure, Mark Gardener of Ride, Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins, Jah Wobble, Sinead O'Connor, Sugarmen, Hooton Tennis Club, Goldblade, The Membranes, The Farm, The Christians, ACDC's Phil Rudd, The Sugarhill Gang & Grandmaster Mele Mel, amongst hundreds more.
